Roy died in Dallas, Dallas County, TX. TX Y1 Roy served WWI US Navy. Note: Roy was an auditor for the T&P Railroad. Last Rites Held For Ex-Resident. Funeral services were held in Dallas Monday for Roy J. Justus, 59, veteran accountant for the TX & Pacific Railway & former resident of Denton. Justus died Saturday en route to a Dallas hospital. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery of Denton. A native of Geuda, Kansas, he had lived in & near Dallas since 1926. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Yarnell Justus of Dallas, a sister, Mrs Mabel Totten of Geuda, Kansas, & a sister-in-law, Mrs. J.D. Carathers of Sanger. His wife is a former Dentonite. Pallbearers were T. W. Flewharly, S.L. Kirkland, J.P. McCluskey, J.C. Redmon, J. Sceger & J. L. Strange. Honorary pallbearers were auditors of the T&P Expenditure office. |
